From Anxiety to Happiness
Once we have dealt with our anxiety and come to an understanding of what it is, the next step is to locate the things that can make us happy. There are, without a doubt, an infinite number of ways to experience joy. However, in this section, I will discuss some of the methods that I personally use to de-stress, and I will organize these approaches into three main categories: Make and Eat; Listen and Watch; and Express and Vent.
When I am feeling pressured, I treat myself to a cake or some other kind of sweet treat, and if I have any spare time, I prepare my own desserts to eat, such as egg tarts. Come with me to see how it works!
When I am in a bad mood, I will stop what I am doing and put on a funny movie or comedy to watch, or I will put on some upbeat background music to listen to while I am relaxing with my eyes closed.
When I discover that I am unable to process negative feelings on my own, I will either find a friend with whom I can discuss what is upsetting me at the moment, or I will go to the dancing class to turn the tears that I am about to shed into sweat.
